100 Hours - Stargazing at Lansdown

A public stargazing evening run by Bath Astronomers offering guidance on what is visible currently in the night sky and anything specific on that evening.
The event is part of the 100 Hours of Astronomy initiative run from 2nd to 5th October and is supported by the International Astronomical Union and the Royal Astronomical Society.
The hope is to introduce more people to the wonders of the night sky by accomplishing challenges to be outlined in https://100hours.online/. The project is funded by the Federation of Astronomical Societies and the British Astronomical Association. Everyone is welcome.
This event is being held at the Lansdown Playing Fields South, behind the Lansdown Park & Ride.
As the event is weather dependent, registration via the Bath Astronomers website is required so we can tell you if it needs to be cancelled due to cloud, rain or unforeseen circumstances.
