The Liverpool Astronomical Society run a monthly Young Astronomers Club at their Leighton Observatory in Pex Hill.
The club meets monthly between October and March to observe through telescopes, take astrophotos of various objects in the night sky, and have interesting talks and astronomy-related activities.
The club is aimed at 10 to 16-year-olds, but all youngsters are welcome! We recommend taking warm clothing as you may be outside! Drinks and refreshments included.
A parent or responsible adult must accompany youngsters. The cost is a few pounds per evening, or you can join the Young Astronomers Club for a small annual fee.
