Family Stargazing at Monkton Combe

Bath Astronomers are setting up telescopes for families and individuals to come and look through and enjoy the night sky together for free.
Wrap up warm and look at the moons around Jupiter, the storm belts, and, if we’re lucky, the Great Red Spot.
See the rings around Saturn and the green spot that is Uranus, get your eyes used to the dark and try to spot the Andromeda Galaxy, the Milky Way arching overhead, or test your eyesight like ancient warriors by splitting stars.
Family Stargazing is weather dependent, so please check back the event’s Facebook page on the day of the event before travelling to avoid cancellation disappointment.
