South Cheshire Astronomical Society club meeting & observing
Monday 7th October 2024 from 19:30pm to 21:30pm
St Peter's Community Hall
Middlewich Road, Crewe, Cheshire, CW1 4RD
If you are interested in astronomy, you can join the South Cheshire Astronomical Society members for their club meeting.
These sessions occur (usually) on the first Monday of each month from September to May, although the day (and sometimes venue) changes. Please check with the Society to confirm.
The main focus of these nights is to observe the night sky using a range of Society telescopes and members’ scopes. If you have binoculars or a telescope, then take them along!
When the weather is poor, the opportunity is taken to meet with other interested observers, listen to informal talks, share information and undertake virtual sky viewing.
Admission, plus refreshments of tea, coffee, fruit juice and cake, are free, but donations are gratefully received to help cover costs.
