Loughton Astronomical Society

Astrokyds is a group for young astronomers between the ages of 6 to 14 and is run by members of the Loughton Astronomical Society. The club meets regularly on the second Friday of each month except for April and August. Events usually include an astronomy-themed presentation, experiments, demonstrations and quizzes. If the skies are clear, the priority is always to get outdoors for stargazing and to observe the night sky using telescopes and binoculars. If you have children who are interested in joining the group please contact the Society directly.

Everyone can expect a warm welcome from the members of Loughton Astronomical Society, a friendly and approachable club, for this one of their regular Thursday evening meetings. Enjoy a wide variety of activities, including a talk by a guest speaker, members' presentations and observing through telescopes if the weather permits.
