The Malcolm Parry Observatory at Long Eaton is a research-grade facility opened in 2012 by an ex-chairman of the board of governors, Malcolm Parry.

The observatory was funded with grants and donations from the Wolfson Trust, Institute of Physics and Malcolm Parry.

The facility hosts frequent public open evenings during term time.
