Leeds Astronomical Society

Everyone is welcome to join members from the Leeds Astronomical Society for this second Wednesday of the month meeting. These meetings typically include a lecture or presentation on a particular astronomical topic given by guest speakers or society members and the opportunity to learn more about the group's informal events and stargazing sessions.

Members of the Leeds Astronomical Society host informal meetings on the fourth Wednesday of each month except for August and December.

These sessions are a great way to meet local astronomers, get help and advice about telescopes and accessories, and learn about the group's practical observing sessions.

Doors open at 7.00 pm with meetings starting around 7.30 pm and ending between 9.30 pm and 10 pm. A small fee is payable on the door to help cover costs.
