Astro Camp

AstroCamp is a twice-yearly star party hosted under the tremendous dark skies of central Wales. A friendly team of astronomers organise the event, which takes place over a weekend with no Moon and includes talks, presentations, workshops, quizzes and a few drinks in the nearby pub if the weather is poor. Their events are ideal for beginners and newcomers to the hobby; you don't need a telescope, and they are excellent social gatherings where you can make new friends.
