Piazzi Smyth Observatory observing session
Wednesday every week from October 2024 to April 2025
Piazzi Smyth Observatory
Bedford School, Bedford, Bedfordshire, MK40 2LD
Join friendly astronomers from the Bedford Astronomical Society for an evening of observing at Bedford School’s Piazzi Smyth Observatory. The facility houses a large 16″ Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope that offers fantastic views.
These events are held every Wednesday between October and April and go ahead only when the weather is clear — check the group’s Twitter feed for announcements. These sessions are for those interested in learning more about the Society and possibly becoming members.
Note that there may not be an observing session on the last Wednesday of each month if the group hosts one of their regular speaker meetings.
