DESCRIPTION:Everyone is welcome to join the friendly members of the Luton A
 stronomical Society for their monthly meetings\, which include a presentat
 ion by a guest speaker and an opportunity to learn more about the group's 
 practical stargazing sessions and events at their Putteridge Bury observat
 ory. The sessions occur on the last Thursday of each month (except for Dec
 ember)\; June and July meetings are held at Someries Junior School. A smal
 l on-the-door fee is applicable to help cover costs.
