Social evening at the Isle of Man Observatory
The third Friday of the month from January 2024 to December 2024
James Martin Observatory - Isle Of Man
Higher Foxdale, Foxdale, Isle of Man, IM4 3HB
You are welcome to join the friendly astronomers from the Isle of Man Astronomical Society at their fantastic Isle of Man Observatory. The group opens their observatory on the third Friday of every month for an informal gathering that includes observing using their telescopes if the weather permits. A small fee payable at the door (£4.00 for adults, £2.00 for children) helps them cover their costs.
These sessions are a great way to meet local astronomers and learn more about their Society, observatory and stargazing activities. The Society hosts custom tours of the observatory, too, with observing using their telescopes if the skies are clear — please get in touch with them directly with all enquiries.
