DESCRIPTION:Everyone is invited to join the welcoming members of the Walsal
 l Astronomical Society\, who meet weekly at Rushall Olympic Football Club.
 \n\nMeetings are primarily informal social events\, except for the first T
 hursday of each month\, which is more formal and includes a presentation b
 y a guest speaker.\n\nOn the last Thursday of each month\, there will be a
  short presentation covering the latest space news and what can be seen in
  the night sky for the following month.\n\nAfter the meeting\, there will 
 be an opportunity to stargaze and perhaps look through telescopes if the w
 eather permits.\n\nThe session offers an opportunity for help and advice f
 rom experienced astronomers\, and the group regularly hosts telescope work
 shops.
