La Société Guernesiaise Astronomy Section Club Night
Tuesday every 2 weeks from September 2024 to April 2025
David Le Conte Astronomical Observatory
Rue du Lorier, St Pierre du Bois, Channel Isles, GY7 9JU
The Society of Guernsey Astronomy Section holds regular informal meetings on Tuesday evenings every fortnight.
Members observe with the telescopes if it is clear, and if not, talk about astronomical matters over a cup of tea! Occasionally, a more formal meeting may be held with lectures, sometimes by visiting astronomers.
New members are welcome. If this is your first meeting, please arrive at about 8.30 pm as the first half-hour is often an admin/committee discussion period.
The group is keen to encourage interest in astronomy within the community, especially among younger astronomers. So please get in touch with them and pop along to their meetings!
