SUMMARY:Stargazing at Sunnydale Cricket Pitch
DESCRIPTION:Join the Friends of Littleover Park on the cricket pitch to see
  the Moon\, Saturn\, Jupiter and Mars\, as well as stars and constellation
 s like Vega\, the Great Square of Pegasus\, the Plough and Cassiopeia’s 
 Chair. There may be a bright comet as well!\n\nBring a red-filtered torch 
 and remember to dress warmly. Use a rear bike light or create a red filter
 ed torch by painting the lens of a torch with red nail varnish or cover wi
 th a sheet of red plastic and fasten with an elastic band.\n\nEveryone is 
 welcome. Under 16's must be accompanied by an adult. We will not meet in t
 he event of heavy clouds or rain.\n\nThis is one of a series of stargazing
  sessions planned for the second Friday from September to December 2024.\n
