Public observing at High Legh Community Observatory
Friday every week from January 2024 to December 2024
High Legh Community Observatory
Abbey Leys Farm, High Legh, Cheshire, WA16 6NS
Everyone is welcome to join the High Legh Astronomical Society members in their charming and welcoming observatory for this one of their regular Friday evenings open nights.
Please note that the observatory will be open only if the weather is good for two to three hours after dusk.
The start time of these events changes throughout the year, with the earliest time being 8 pm. If you are interested in attending, we recommend you contact the Society in advance to confirm opening times and let them know you’ll be going along.
These events are free of charge (donations welcome!) and make for an excellent opportunity for an evening of stargazing with a friendly and enthusiastic bunch of amateur astronomers!
