Walsall Astronomical Society meeting and stargazing
Thursday every week from January 2024 to December 2024
Rushall Olympic Football Club
Dales Lane, Rushall, West Midlands, WS4 1LJ
Everyone is invited to join the welcoming members of the Walsall Astronomical Society, who meet weekly at Rushall Olympic Football Club.
Meetings are primarily informal social events, except for the first Thursday of each month, which is more formal and includes a presentation by a guest speaker.
On the last Thursday of each month, there will be a short presentation covering the latest space news and what can be seen in the night sky for the following month.
After the meeting, there will be an opportunity to stargaze and perhaps look through telescopes if the weather permits.
The session offers an opportunity for help and advice from experienced astronomers, and the group regularly hosts telescope workshops.
