Manchester Astronomical Society weekly meeting
Thursday every week from January 2024 to December 2024
Blackett Lecture Theatre
Schuster Building, University of Manchester, Manchester, Lancashire, M13 9PL
You are invited to join the members of the Manchester Astronomical Society for their regular weekly meetings at the University of Manchester.
In normal circumstances, the group meet at their Godlee Observatory. However, due to ongoing renovations, the group has relocated to The Blackett Theatre in the Shuster building for their lecture meetings.
The group aims to encourage interest in astronomy for newcomers and seasoned observers, and many of their lectures are geared towards beginners. You are welcome to attend a few meetings as their guest before being asked to join the Society.
Visitors without the University of Manchester swipe cards will need to contact the Society on arrival to arrange for someone to let you into the building. See the Manchester Astronomical Society website for more details.
