Join me, Si Rowland in beautiful Cresswell Village under the dark skies of Northumberland for the event of the year – The Geminid Meteor Shower! This prolific shower delivers up to 150 meteors per hour and against the dark December skies, they are really bright. It will be new Moon too this year so the display should be really good.
As well as watching for shooting stars, Jupiter will be high in the sky and the majestic constellation Orion will be there with its famous nebula which we’ll be able to see through my telescopes. I will also have an actual shooting star to show you all!
