The friendly astronomers from the Bridgend Astronomical Society are hosting a FREE observing session for the peak of the Perseid meteor shower.

The group will have a few telescopes on site to observe the night sky. You are very welecome to join them and may wish to bring a camping chair or blanket and also some refreshments.

Please note that in the event of adverse weather, this event could be cancelled and rescheduled at short notice. Please check the groups facebook page or get in touch with them if unsure.
