Sun fun at Elan Valley - see the partial solar eclipse!

Join the team from Aberystwyth University on 25th October for an exciting, astronomy-themed day where you can see the Moon take a bite out of the Sun during a partial solar eclipse from 10:00 am to 11:50 am (approx).
We will have solar observing telescopes to hand for you to watch this special event. If the weather is poor, we’ll show the eclipse live on screen. Come and see some meteorites (rocks from space) and other space-themed exhibits and participate in some solar system-themed activities.
We will also host fascinating talks from the Aberystwyth University physics team and Pete Williamson (FRAS).
