Astrophotography at High Force Waterfall

This workshop is timed to include golden hour, sunset, blue hour, full astronomical darkness, and maximum visibility of the late summer Milky Way.

We’ll start in the Low Force area, before heading along the Pennine Way to Bleabeck Force and High Force waterfalls for golden hour and sunset, returning to Low Force waterfall for blue hour.

We’ll then take a well-earned break, before regrouping at the High Force Hotel, for exclusive access to the waterfall area during astronomical darkness, perfectly timed for the return of the Milky Way after the summer months.

The workshop is also timed for the last weekend night/morning before the peak of the Perseid meteor shower (peaks August 12th-13th). If solar conditions are favourable, Low Force is well-positioned for the Northern Lights.
