Astrophotography at Burnhope Reservoir
Friday 9th August 2024 from 23:15pm to Saturday 10th August 2024 01:15am
Burnhope Reservoir
Wearhead, St Johns Chapel, County Durham, DL13
This workshop is timed for full astronomical darkness, and maximum visibility of the late summer Milky Way.
The route will depend on the group’s preferences, and shooting opportunities. We’ll most likely start on the western shore of the reservoir.
We welcome all ability levels, from absolute beginners, to people who’ve dabbled with night photography, to more experienced photographers.
The beauty of taking photographs at night is that you start with a blank canvas, and don’t have to allow for daylight. You can either shoot in available light, or add your own with a torch (if you don’t know how to yet, we’ll show you).
The photographs from these workshops are always special. People are blown away by how easy it is to get stunning results.
Please note that this has already taken place on 09/08/2024
