The fantastic Moffat Community Observatory is open to public visits throughout the week (except for Sundays) from October to March.
Enjoy incredible views of the night skies above internationally-recognised Moffat Dark Sky Town and observe extraordinary objects through the observatory’s giant 16″ aperture telescope.
These informal open evenings are subject to favourable weather conditions and the availability of volunteers. The observatory is available free of charge; however, donations are welcome.
