Stargazing in East Midlands

Want to see the Milky Way in the East Midlands? Head for the Peak District National Park for some fabulous views of starry skies. The Lincolnshire Wolds also benefits from low levels of light pollution.

The East Midlands covers Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire, Derbyshire,
Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, and Rutland are numerous active astronomy groups and societies.

The region also boasts several public observatories which run regular stargazing sessions for anyone interested in astronomy.
