Visitors are welcome to join the friendly and enthusiastic members of the Chesterfield Astronomical Society at this informal observing session at their observatory which occurs every Friday from September to April.
The session starts at 8 pm and finishes when the last person leaves, usually around 9:30 pm; however, it can go on until much later.
There is no need to book — pop in if the weather looks good. A small donation of £2 is asked to help maintain the observatory.
