DESCRIPTION:SIGMA meets on the first Friday of every month\, starting from 
 7 pm for a 7.30 pm start\, at Alves Village Hall. \n\nMeetings often inclu
 de a presentation by a guest speaker and possibly the opportunity for some
  practical stargazing weather depending. \n\nThe location offers an excell
 ent escape from local light pollution and is ideal for routine observing e
 ither during or after meetings.\n\nNon-members are always welcome! Please 
 contact the Society if you'd like to attend.\n\n
