Stargazing in North East England
Home » Countries in the UK » England »
North East England is a vast region with some of the UK’s darkest skies, many unique places to stargaze and plenty of stargazing accommodation.
The region is also home to some of the most active astronomy groups in the country, who organise a variety of stargazing events across the region.
North East England boasts three national parks, Northumberland, Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors, that have all been awarded dark sky status by the International Dark-Sky Association.
