Preston and District Astronomical Society

Join the Preston and District Astronomical Society members for this one of their regular second Thursday of the month (except December) meetings. Enjoy a presentation by a guest speaker and catch up with fellow astronomers. You can also find out more about the events at their observatory in Moor Park.

Pop along to the Jeremiah Horrocks Observatory in Preston's Moor Park for an evening of stargazing with Preston and District Astronomical Society astronomers. The observatory is open on the third Thursday of each month from September to April (except for December). Events are suitable for all, including children and novices; if you have a telescope of your own, take it along! No prior booking is required.
