The group offers access to astronomy equipment, including telescopes and binoculars (and, of course, books!), and there is often stargazing from the library garden if weather permits. The Perton Library Astronomy Group is a small, friendly group that is open to anyone interested in astronomy to join them. The group meets on the third Thursday every month; events are completely free and involve stargazing and observing outside if the weather is clear. No booking is required; you are welcome to turn up!
